Director Of Culinary Operations
Bryce Coulton grew up in New Jersey experiencing food through the flavors and smells of the neighborhood deli. During his 20 years of service in the U.S. Air Force, his exposure to food criss-crossed through Europe, the Mediterranean, North Africa, and the Middle East. He witnessed and lived the collaboration of diverse cultures through the prism of food and the opportunities it offered to discover our shared experiences.
A career in food began as his way of connecting to the community in which he lived. After graduating from Ballymaloe Cookery School in County Cork, Bryce settled into Omaha and has been part of those educators, cooks, and restaurateurs leading the promotion of local food in support of farmers, ranchers, and producers. He has helped create and revive unique dining experiences and culinary traditions that now flourish within Omaha.
Bryce’s contribution to No More Empty Pots is a consolidation of his desire to be in service to the community and his belief of food as a bridge to education and self-sufficiency. His direction, assistance, and support of the culinary activities of No More Empty Pots is intended to create and develop access to healthy food alternatives and economic opportunities within our local food ecosystem.
In his spare time, Bryce coaches youth baseball and plans his return trip to hitchhike in Ireland.
