Shelby Andersen-Holt loves working in the space food creates to progress social change for social justice. She holds a Master of Social work from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Fun fact about Shelby, she lived in Kayseri, Turkey teaching English as a Fulbright scholar during the 2014-2015 academic year. She has served No More Empty Pots in several roles since 2015, including as a Project Assistant and as Community Development Manager. In her spare time she serves as a Developmental Evaluation Consultant with the TerraLuna Collaborative and enjoys boxing, reading, and being a mom to her 14-year-old cat, Rae-Rae.
